There are at least eight ways you can earn money through the Young Living compensation plan. All we're going to talk to you about here, though, is just two of them: The FAST START Bonus and the START LIVING Bonus.

Andy Jenkins, of, writes this in his book The Field Guide to the Comp Plan(pp 96-97):

For each person you enroll, remember, you'll receive both of the following:
Fast Start Bonus of 25% of the PV for each enrollment (the PV for a Premium Starter Kit is 100, so you'll earn about $25 per enrollment for this bonus alone - and you'll receive that 25% for three months)
Start Living Bonus of $25 per enrollment (one time)
In all, you'll earn ... (about $50/enrollment that first month) - plus the ongoing residual income off future orders and enrollments they may make.

Want to know even more? Here's what it says in the official Young Living Compensation Plan Terms and Definitions:

Fast Start Bonus:
Young Living distributors are eligible to earn a Fast Start Bonus on all new distributors they personally enroll in the company. This bonus pays 25% on the volume of each personally enrolled distributor’s total orders placed during the first three calendar months, in addition to base commissions. Each month the bonus payout of 25% is earned by the enroller, a calculation of 10% of the same volume can be paid to the second upline enroller if eligible.* A maximum of $200 may be earned from this bonus per distributor, per month, or $80 for the second upline enroller.
*When the Fast Start Bonus is paid, the PV used to calculate the bonus is reduced by 70% for all othercommissionable payouts.
Starter Kit Bonus:
Young Living distributors can become eligible to earn a $25 cash bonus in addition to regular commissions each time they personally enroll a new distributor in Young Living and the newly enrolled distributor purchases a premium Starter Kit (the basic kit does not qualify). This is a one-time bonus paid to a new distributor’s enroller. When a new customer chooses to purchase a premium Start Living Enrollment Kit, the bonus will not be paid to the enroller.
